Denied permission to play IPL, Thushara apologises to SL after NOC saga

Nuwan Thushara has apologised to Sri Lanka Cricket after taking them to court over a denied IPL NOC. He said he didn’t intend to “cause inconvenience” and was “seeking fairness and justice.” With SLC opposing his plea over fitness concerns, Thushara is now considering withdrawing the case, easing tensions while his IPL 2026 participation remains uncertain.
