Cash-strapped state clears almost Rs 200 crores for Ladki Bahin publicity

The government sanctioned Rs 199.8 crores to publicize the Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, offering stipends to underprivileged women, and Rs 4.7 crores for the Annapurna Yojana’s free gas cylinders. This occurs just weeks after approving Rs 270 crores for welfare schemes’ publicity, raising opposition concerns over the state’s financial priorities.
