Verma stars as India thrash Nepal to qualify for Asia Cup semifinals

Verma and Dayalan Hemalatha's 122-run opening stand laid the foundation for India's 178-3. Nepal, needing to chase within 10 overs to surpass Pakistan's net run rate, fell short, finishing at 96-9. Deepti Sharma starred with the ball, taking 3-13. India’s dominant performance secured their semifinal spot, joining Pakistan from Group A.
