Boxer Amit Panghal bows out with defeat to Chinyemba

India's Amit Panghal was knocked out of the Paris Olympics after losing 1-4 to Zambia's Patrick Chinyemba in the 51kg Round of 16. Panghal, a 2019 world championship silver medallist, struggled against the energetic Chinyemba, who dominated from the start. Despite Panghal's attempts to recover, the judges favoured Chinyemba in all rounds. This defeat echoes Panghal's early exit from the Tokyo Olympics. Panghal, a Commonwealth Games 2022 gold medallist, couldn't overcome the third-seeded African champion.
