'Had Jadeja run straight...': Sangakkara explains the law

During the IPL 2024 clash between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, Ravindra Jadeja found himself in a rare situation, becoming only the third player in the league's history to be dismissed for obstructing the field. The unusual occurrence stemmed from a miscommunication between Jadeja and skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. This confusion led to Jadeja opting out of a second run, despite already being halfway down the pitch.
