In a record, Zoji La reopens after 35 days against 68 in 2023

Border Roads Organisation has reopened Zoji La (pass), the main obstacle in Ladakh's lifeline via Srinagar, for vehicular traffic after 35 days of being under snow against 68 days last year - a record that reflects India's growing mountain road-building prowess that has big upside for border defence as well as people's lives in the frontier region.
