Indian diesel floods to Asia as Houthis imperil flows to Europe

Shipments of diesel from India to Europe are at their lowest since 2022 due to Houthi attacks on merchant shipping. Higher freight costs and refinery maintenance in Asia have made it more economically viable to send cargo to Asia. Recent shipments on Marlin Sicily and Marlin La Plata are headed for Rotterdam.
