All flight paths lead to Ahmedabad as fares soar 8x, hotel tariffs 29 times

The upcoming ICC World Cup final between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has generated immense excitement. Over 100 charter flights have been booked to transport people to the city, leading to a surge in airfares and hotel tariffs. Liquor permit applications in the dry state of Gujarat have reached an all-time high. The unprecedented demand has also led to additional flights being scheduled and alternate parking arrangements for charter aircraft at the Ahmedabad airport. Some cricket fans are even driving long distances to witness the game.
