UN Gaza vote: Opposition slams India's stand; BJP says can't side with terror

The Congress party, along with several other opposition parties, criticised the Indian government for abstaining from voting on the UN resolution on Gaza. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed shock and shame over India's decision, stating that it goes against the principles of non-violence and truth that India stands for. BJP defended its position, stating that the resolution was silent on Hamas' brutality and India would never support terrorism. The opposition parties accused the Modi government of being a subordinate ally of US imperialism and consolidating the US-Israel-India nexus.
