The farm factor: How will kisans vote?

As the state polls approach in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Telangana, the influence of farmers in the election is becoming more apparent. Despite the majority of voters being farmers, their output is relatively low, leading to low incomes and dependence on government support. The farm factor differs across states, with Telangana having relatively higher incomes compared to the other three states.
