Ex-Haryana minister acquitted of charge of abetting Geetika suicide

Former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda was Tuesday acquitted by a court of the charge of abetting the suicide of ex-airhostess Geetika Sharma who was employed with his now-defunct airline. Special judge Vikas Dhull at a Rouse Avenue court also acquitted co-accused Aruna Chadha, saying the prosecution had failed to prove the charges beyond all reasonable doubt.
